On Thursday, Jan. 30 in Venice at Sala San Domenico at 10:30 a.m. Michele Gazich will present “PARTIGIANO BASAGLIA,” his “EXPRESSIONIST OPERATION.” Two voices, that of Maestro dell'anima Marco Lamberti and his own, two instruments, guitar and violin, to tell in music and words the semi-unknown story of partisan Franco Basaglia: his two arrests, imprisonment in the Venetian jail and detention at the infamous “custody rooms” at the Civil Hospital in Venice along with other political prisoners about to be incarcerated or the Jews gathered there before leaving for the death camps.
Free admission.
